This wine is made of Malbec de Agrelo grapes in Lugjan de Cujo, Mendoza's traditional area for the growing of this wine variety. The use of the traditional method (pelicular fermentation and maceration with periodical remounting) results in a red wine of a dark ruby color, with fruity aromas, and is warm, structured and concentrated. We add a note of Cabernet Sauvignon with its flavorful and spicy aromas which combine with the fruity
plum flavor of the Malbec.
Fermentation takes place in French medium toast oak barrels which adds a touch of vanilla and a roasted quality. This is a good wine to store in your cellar, it is at its best at 4 to 5 years after harvest. This is a high-class wine with the typical Argentinean profile, and is excellent combined with meals of roasted meats and vegetables, pasta with meat or mushroom sauce, and mature cheeses.
