In this wine, the characteristics of a Malbec are predominent, but they are also complemented by those of a Merlot. There is a velvet taste and a certain unctuosity, which is why it can be consumed faster. The result is a wine of a bright ruby color with fruity fragrances and aromas. Both Malbec and Merlot are harvested by hand and seperately processed by traditional methods before being mixed and fermented in barrels.
The Merlot adds a fruity aroma and an earthy taste of flowers and eucalyptus to the Malbec's plum flavor. The presence of wood becomes discretely perceptible through the aromas of vanilla and torrefaction. This is an elegant wine, easy to drink and provides the perfect accompaniment to meals of simple red meat, pasta with tomato sauce and mild cheeses.
